Country Sweet Produce, Bako Sweet

Country Sweet Produce and the Bako Sweet® brand grows farm-fresh sweet potatoes and sweet onions in Bakersfield, California! Donald Valpredo’s father began growing vegetables on the family farm in the early 1940s. 50 years later, he ventured into growing sweet potatoes and sweet onions to expand the family business. His son, Michael, eventually joined him to create the well-known brand, Bako Sweet. Today, Bako Sweet is proud to grow, pack and ship the freshest spuds and onions for your family to enjoy.

Eco Farms was established in 1972 by two friends with a passion for high-quality, California-grown produce! Steve Taft and Norm Traner are proud to have been the first organic avocado and citrus suppliers in California with locations spanning from Santa Barbara to San Diego. During peak season, you can find fresh, unique varieties in-stores from Eco Farms like dragon fruit, Buddha’s Hand, Satsuma oranges, Meyer lemons and Cara Cara navel oranges.

Five Crowns Farming

Five Crowns is a fourth-generation, family-owned farm located in the heart of Imperial and Coachella Valley. Founded in 1982 by the Colace family, Five Crowns is proud to grow, pack and ship sweet summer corn and a variety of high-quality, juicy melons like cantaloupe, hami and honeydew. Ensuring the freshest produce arrives to your kitchen, Five Crowns takes special care from the moment seeds are planted in early winter to their first harvest in early May. Once harvested, the produce travels to a facility to be properly cooled for optimal shipping temperature, helping to retain their freshness.

The Jackson family’s farming roots date all the way back to 1813 in England, where their passion for farm-fresh produce began. Today, Kingsburg Orchards grows more than 200 varieties of delicious fruit on over 8,000 acres of beautiful California land.

With eight generations of farming experience, Kings River Packing knows a thing or two when it comes to growing juicy, high-quality citrus! This family-owned farm was founded in 1977, but their citrus roots date back to 1866 when the Hazelton family, who owns Kings River, became the first grower of oranges in Fresno County. Today, the farm operates in a state-of-the-art facility growing delicious citrus like Shasta Mandarins, Raspberry Oranges and Cara Cara Navels.

Muranaka Farms

Muranaka Farms is proud to bring the southern California community the freshest green onions and radishes! Founded in 1947 by Minoru Muranaka and his wife, Matsue, the Muranaka Farm began with just 60-acres of land in San Fernando Valley before establishing their roots in Moorpark. The couple’s original business venture began by transporting Japanese-American grown produce from Culver City to the LA market, which sparked their interest in becoming independent growers of their own. The family farm is now operated by their two sons, Harry and Roy, who are proud to uphold their parents’ dreams of growing consistent, high-quality produce year-round.

The Singh family has had one mission since 1939—to grow the freshest pole tomatoes in Southern California! Oceanside Pole is proud to be one of the last remaining pole tomato growers in California.
