Today, Southern Valley is a woman-owned and family-operated growing, packing and shipping facility that provides our stores with fresh zucchini, yellow squash, eggplant and pickling cucumbers! Staying true to their farming roots, Southern Valley handles every aspect of the growing process from the seeds planted in their greenhouses, to harvesting and hand-packaging the best produce for your family.

BBI Produce was founded in 1990 and grows the freshest berries and melons in Florida and Georgia! They are family owned and operated by two families, the Brown’s and the Young’s. In 1986, Ronnie Young and Marvin Brown purchased an 85-acre plot of land in Dover, Florida and began growing strawberries. After realizing their passion and success, they added additional acreage in both Florida and Georgia. This expansion led them to where they are now and can pack, ship and grow strawberries, blackberries, watermelons and Athena melons to share with the great state of Florida and Georgia.
Since their founding in 1983, Jim Rash has been delivering the freshest watermelons direct from their farms to our stores! Jim Rash goes above what’s expected because that’s just what makes sense. Their dedication to honesty and integrity guide them through extensive reviews, training and testing processes to ensure the best practice for all of their delicious produce. From the time their watermelons are planted, until the time they’re packed and shipped, you can be sure that the team at Jim Rash is growing juicy, nutritious watermelons. Growing watermelons isn’t just what they do, it’s who they are!
Lewis Taylor Farms was a small, family-owned farm run by Lewis Taylor in 1945. After his sudden passing, William Mcallister and Edwin Walker bought the farm from the family in 1964 but kept the original namesake to continue his high-quality, farm-fresh produce legacy. Today, it’s a 5,600-acre farm with two packing facilities and 81 greenhouses proudly bringing the local Georgia community delicious greens, broccoli, melons and more!
Shuman Farms provides the sweetest Vidalia onions that are grown locally in Cobbtown, Georgia during the spring and summer. This family-owned farm has been perfecting sweet onions for the last 30 years and prides itself on growing the highest-quality onions for you to enjoy. Each crop is harvested by hand, cleaned and sorted meticulously to ensure only the best arrive in your kitchen. We’re proud to work with local growers like Shuman Farms who believe in taking care of the communities they serve. They continuously work with organizations like Produce for Kids and Feeding America, which provide fresh produce to children and families in need.

Brothers Mike and Dan Carpinito began farming and selling pumpkins while still in high school over 50 years ago. Today, their sons successfully run the family farm and grow the freshest leafy greens, beans and beets for our stores. Located in the Green River Valley, the Carpinito Brothers Farm is extremely unique due to its soil that receives the benefits of glacial runoff to grow the best produce around! To this day, the Carpinito Brothers Farm remains the largest grower in the area, allowing them to serve the local Washington community through stores and their own farm stand in Kent, Washington.
Chelan Fresh is one of the many unique, family-owned farms used to source our juicy, seasonal cherries. Located in Washington along the Cascade Mountains, the clean rivers and warm, mountain sun allow them to grow their fresh, Chelan Fresh Dark Sweet Cherries. The 4th generation family farm ensures the cherries are grown to exacting standards for the best flavor and eating experience during their short season.
Located in the heart of the Green River Valley, Mosby Farms is proud to bring the local Washington community farm-fresh, high-quality produce like summer squashes, rhubarb, beets and cucumbers. This family-owned farm was founded in 1977 by Burr Mosby, who hand-delivered squash out of his pickup truck to local grocers. Keeping the tradition alive, Mosby Farms continues to harvest by hand and carefully cultivates all their produce for you to enjoy.
Founded in 1923 by the Sterino family, this fourth-generation farm grows a unique selection of delicious berries, cabbage, corn, lettuce and other fresh produce in Tacoma, Washington. Michael Sterino started a small, 15-acre farm after migrating from Naples Italy with his wife to grow their first crops of pie cherries, raspberries and blackberries. Throughout the years, the development of the city around destroyed much of this original land, forcing them to expand across the street but allowing for more acreage. Today, Michael’s great grandson operates the farm and continues the tradition of bringing high-quality produce to the local Washington community.

Founded in 1880, Eastern Fresh Growers is a family-owned farm that has been growing delicious fresh produce on the same road since its founding. What started as an 108-acre farm with 40-tillable acres is now a 1,000-acre farm that rotates crops to deliver peak-season items like bell peppers, asparagus, eggplants, squash and so much more. Not only does Eastern Growers take great care in growing, but they also take great care in sanitizing, storing and shipping their produce so they provide the best possible fruits and veggies to their community and partners.
The Flaim family has grown some of the freshest vegetables on their family-owned farm since 1934 in Vineland, New Jersey! Founded by Anthony and Catherine Flaim, Flaim Farms began by growing and shipping high-quality, tasty produce. Today, their grandson Robert Flaim Jr. manages the day-to-day operations of their 400-acre farm. Flaim Farms grows and ships a variety of produce throughout the seasons like romaine, kale, beets, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. The Flaim family is committed to upholding their 80-year tradition of growing produce with safe food-handling and sustainable agricultural practices in mind.
Michael Nardelli left Venefro, Italy in 1888 and eventually established the family-owned farm in Cedarville, New Jersey. Since then, the farm has been successfully owned and operated by multiple generations of the family to provide high-quality fruits and vegetables to grocers across the U.S. and Canada. Nardelli Lake View Farms is proud to provide you with produce that is grown, harvested, packed and shipped all by the same company for a “field-to-fork” experience, every time.
The Jersey Fruit cooperative, which started in 1940, is truly a unique operation comprised of small, family-owned farms—the only of its kind in New Jersey! During the late summer months, you can expect to see the juiciest stone fruit and blueberries from these local farms. Each season they handle an impressive 27 million pounds of peaches, nectarines and over 7 million pounds of blueberries!
