Sprouts Farmers Market Celebrates New Store Opening in the Bay Area

Sprouts Farmers Market announced it will open a new store in Pittsburg, California on Friday, June 27, located at 2201 W. Leland Rd. A ribbon cutting will take place on Friday at 6:45 a.m. The doors to the store will open at 7 a.m.

Grand Opening Weekend Events:

From Friday, June 27 through Sunday, June 29, a variety of activities will celebrate the grand opening. A “pop-up party” out front will give guests the chance to taste seasonal produce from the tasting bar, participate in a “guess the weight” contest of an oversized piece of produce and more. These activities are fun for the whole family and will last all weekend long.

The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a free reusable goodie bag filled with special products and samples. Plus, the first 400 guests on Friday will receive a free long stem rose courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral. Inside the store, shoppers can taste new products while they shop from innovative brands at the Vendor Village. Giveaways and music throughout the weekend will also add to the festivities.

Shoppers can receive 20% off their purchase over the grand opening weekend when they text BURG to 777-688 and scan their app account barcode at checkout; up to one redemption per Sprouts account per day, $20 maximum discount. Shoppers can also view Sprouts’ weekly ad and save more than $100 with digital coupons on grocery staples and new items every month on the app. Customers will also have the chance to win a $500 Sprouts gift card up until midnight on June 29 when they sign up via this store page on Sprouts’ website.

Sprouts Farmers Market is invested in serving the communities where it operates. It works with local California farmers such as Windset Farms, Van Groningen & Sons Inc., Turlock Fruit Company, Sambado Family and others to source local produce.
