Raw Farm Raw Cheddar Cheese Products

Raw Farm raw cheddar cheeses are being withdrawn from sale due to potential E.coli contamination per FDA advisory (Read Full Notice Here). Please do not consume any variety of Raw Farm raw cheddar cheese.
E. coli symptoms begin anywhere from a few days after consuming contaminated food or up to nine days later. Symptoms include severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, fever, nausea, and/or vomiting. The severity or presence of certain symptoms may depend on the type of pathogenic E. coli causing the infection. Some infections can cause severe bloody diarrhea and lead to life-threatening conditions, such as a type of kidney failure called hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), or the development of high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, and neurologic problems.

True Sea Moss Sea Moss Gel Superfood (multiple varieties)

Diva Fam Inc. has recalled all lots of their 16oz True Sea Moss Gel Superfood products due to lack of required regulatory authorization. The affected products were distributed nationwide to all Sprouts stores. Customers who have purchased affected product are urged to discard the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. No illnesses or adverse health events have been reported in connection with this recall to date.

Spring & Mulberry has initiated a recall on a single lot of their 2.1oz Mint Leaf Date-Sweetened Chocolate Bar due to potential Salmonella contamination. This recall only impacted select stores in California. Customers who have purchased affected product are urged to discard the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. No illnesses have been reported to date.
Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in children, frail or elderly people, and other people with weakened immune systems. Healthy people infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

Sprouts Farmers Market was notified that our frozen Organic Gluten-Free Four Cheese Lasagna has tested positive for gluten above the acceptable limits for Gluten-Free certification. Individuals with a gluten allergen may face serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the affected product.

The Ambriola Company has initiated a Class I recall on select lots of their 4oz Locatelli Grated Pecorino Romano due to the potential of Listeria. This recall only impacted select stores in AZ, CA, CO, FL, NM, NV, OK, and TX. Customers who may have purchased affected product are urged to discard the product and not consume it. No illnesses have been reported to date.
Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
