Founded in 2015, the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation supports health and wellness related causes that directly impact the neighborhoods where Sprouts customers and team members live, work and play. Through the passion of Sprouts’ team members and generosity of vendors and customers, the Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that are making the world a better place through health and nutrition education programs.
REAL School Gardens – Support for 13 new learning gardens for low-income schools in Dallas, Atlanta and Nashville, plus the creation of a nutrition curriculum that will benefit over 100+ schools
Soil Born Farms – School-based gardening, teacher training and nutrition education for low-income schools in Sacramento County
Denver Urban Gardens – Creation of 10 new community gardens, school-based nutrition education and support for over 18 Youth Farm Stands that broaden access to nutritious foods in neighborhoods with limited resources
Spaces of Opportunity, South Phoenix Urban Farm – Support for an 18-acre community garden that will broaden access to healthy, nutritious foods in the heart of South Phoenix
Vitamin Angels – Supports at-risk populations in need – specifically pregnant women, new mothers and children under five – gain access to lifesaving and life changing vitamins and minerals
Autism Speaks – Resources for children and adults affected by autism
