For the base:
3/4 C.
Mixed Nuts
2/3 C.
Dark Chocolate , chopped
For the filling:
1 1/2 C.
Cream Cheese , low fat; at room temperature
1/3 C.
White Sugar
2 tsp
Matcha Green Tea powder
1 1/3 C.
Whipping Cream , light
1 1/2 tsp
peppermint extract
2 tsp
3 tbsp
Cold Water
To serve:
7 tbsp
Whipping Cream , light
Dark Chocolate , for shaving


  1. For the base: Pulse together the nuts and dark chocolate in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
  2. Divide between the bases of six individual serving jars.
  3. For the filling: Beat the cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. Add the sugar and green tea powder, mixing thoroughly until combined.
  4. Add the cream and peppermint extract and beat again to incorporate.
  5. Combine the gelatin and water in a small heatproof bowl. Microwave on high for 20-30 seconds until dissolved, stirring well.
  6. Add to the cream cheese mixture, beating well until fully incorporated.
  7. Spoon the mixture on top of the bases. Rap the jars on a flat surface to help settle the filling before covering and chilling until set, about 4 hours.
  8. To serve: Whip the cream in a mixing bowl to soft peaks. Spoon on top of the set pies and shave some dark chocolate on top before serving.
