Ingredients

Red Cabbage roughly shredded
2 ea
Oranges
1 cp
Dates pitted, sliced
2 tbsp
Honey warmed
1/4 tsp
Dried Thyme
1 ea
Lemon zest only, finely grated
ea
Salt

Instructions

  1. Arrange the red cabbage between serving plates.
  2. Use a small serrated knife to cut away the skin and white pith from the oranges, keeping them whole. Cut out the segments from the oranges, dropping them into a bowl; discard the membrane.
  3. Scatter the orange segments and dates over the red cabbage, seasoning with a little salt.
  4. Drizzle over the warm honey and top with a pinch of dried thyme and the lemon zest before serving.
