Quantity Ingredient
For the puree:
3 cp
Figs chopped
2 tbsp
2 tbsp
1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice
To serve:
1 cp
Cream Cheese at room temperature
3/4 cp
Light Sour Cream
2 tbsp
Confectioner's Sugar
1 tbsp
Lemon Juice
1/4 cp
Hot Water
2 ea
Figs one quartered, one sliced
3/4 cp
Walnuts chopped


  1. For the puree: Combine the figs, water, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Cook over a medium heat, stirring, until the figs are very soft, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Spoon the contents of the saucepan into a food processor and blend on high until smooth. Return the puree to the saucepan and cook over a medium heat until thick and jam-like in appearance.
  3. Set aside to cool.
  4. To serve: As the puree cools, whisk together the cream cheese, sour cream, confectioners' sugar, lemon juice, and hot water in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  5. Divide between four serving cups and top with the fig puree as well as the quartered and sliced figs. Finish with a sprinkle of chopped walnuts on top before serving.
