To peel or not to peel?

Throughout the annals of history, questions have surfaced that have shaken us to our potato-loving core—namely, should we peel the spud or not? Before you make any rash decisions, let us give you some peel positive vibes. Potato peels contain:

  • Iron
  • Vitamin C
  • Riboflavin
  • Calcium
  • B vitamins

Tater tip:

If you’re planning on roasting or frying your potatoes, be sure to give them a soak in ice water first. This will help remove excess starch from the potatoes and yield a crispy, golden exterior.
