Can I bring in my personal container?
We welcome guests to bring reusable containers to use when purchasing bulk or produce products in our store. Before filling your container, please visit a cashier who can assist you in getting the tare weight of the container prior to filling it. At most locations, reusable cloth bulk bags and glass containers are available for sale in the Bulk department, and mesh produce bags in the Produce department.
Can I use reusable grocery bags to carry items while I shop?
Although we encourage our customers to use reusable bags, we ask that you wait to use them until checkout. You may use our shopping carts or baskets to carry items while shopping in store.
What is your policy for rainchecks?
Our raincheck policy is in place to guarantee that our customers are able to purchase our Weekly Ad items at the sale price at any of our locations. To learn more about our raincheck policy, visit our Sprouts Policies Page.
What is your coupon policy?

What is your product sampling policy?
Before sampling a product, let one of our helpful team members know which item you are wanting to try, and they will be happy to assist you.

Tap on the image of the product in question and a pop-up window will appear with “Ingredients” and “Nutrition Information” tabs to learn more about the product. Can’t find the information you’re looking for? Contact us and we’ll be glad to assist you further.
How can I learn more about a product in-store?
Our friendly team members are more than happy to answer any product questions you have. You can also find a barcode scanner in the search function on the Sprouts app. Once you scan an item’s barcode, product information will appear on your screen, including a list of ingredients, nutrition information, and any digital coupons currently available.
How do I recommend a product?
We welcome product recommendations and evaluate these based on overall demand. The best way to submit a request is through our contact us form.
How can I place a special order for a product?
We are delighted to fulfill your special-order request whenever we can. Just ask the appropriate department manager in your local store if a product is available for special order.

Can I get a refund or replacement for an item that has been recalled?
Return the item to your local Sprouts and a team member will be happy to assist you with a refund or replacement. If you no longer have the product, please bring your receipt to the store for further assistance.

During the gift card promotion, can I buy a $100 gift card for $89.99 online?
No, during our buy a $100 gift card for $89.99 gift card promotion, you can only purchase the gift cards in-store at your local Sprouts. There is a limit of three per customer.
Do you offer gift cards to nonprofit organizations at a discount for fundraising purposes?
Sprouts participates in the SCRIP Fundraising Program to help nonprofit organizations by offering Sprouts gift cards at a 5% discounted rate which can be re-sold at full price to raise funds. Learn more here.
Is there a minimum amount and/or maximum amount I can put on a gift card?
Sprouts gift cards can be loaded for any amount between $5 and $100. You can purchase up to $2,000 worth of gift cards in a single transaction.
How do I check my gift card balance?

Do Sprouts gift cards expire or have any fees?
Sprouts gift cards never expire. After 12 months of inactivity, as of the date of purchase, a service fee may be charged against any remaining balance, except where prohibited by law.

Can gift cards be purchased internationally?
Gift cards must be purchased with a credit or debit card with a U.S. billing address and must be mailed to a U.S. mailing address.
Can I reload the value on my existing gift card?
Gift cards may be reloaded in-store; however, this service is not available online.
Can I pick up my gift cards at a store?
Gift cards purchased online cannot be sent to any Sprouts location for pickup at this time. Gift cards may be purchased in-store at any Sprouts location apart from the stores in Chula Vista, CA.
How many gift cards may I purchase at once?
You may purchase up to 10 gift cards in a single transaction. Multiple transactions must be completed to purchase more than 10 gift cards.
Can I get a discount if I purchase in bulk?

Can I change the value of my gift card purchase or cancel the transaction?
All gift card transactions are final. If you want to increase the gift card value, a new transaction will be required.

What if I need a rush order? Is overnight delivery available?
Sprouts offers overnight delivery of gift cards through FedEx for additional fee of $25. Gift card delivery time varies based on the shipping method chosen.
What should I do if my gift card is lost or stolen?
Sprouts does not replace any lost or stolen gift cards unless your online order was not received. If your order was lost or stolen during shipment, please contact us at [email protected]. Sprouts only honors gift cards sold in our stores or on sprouts.com. Gift cards obtained through third-party entities cannot be guaranteed by Sprouts. Gift cards obtained through fraudulent means will not be honored or reimbursed. To report any fraudulent activity or to get transaction history, please contact us.
Where is my gift card order?
Online gift card orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Our standard shipping method is regular U.S. stamped mail and cannot be tracked. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery. Sprouts requires your first order to be paid by check, ACH or wire.
Thereafter, Sprouts accepts payments via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express), check, ACH and wire for bulk gift card purchases. Payment must be received before a gift card order is shipped. Orders paid for by a check, ACH or wire payment will remain pending until payment has been received and deposited. Purchasers will receive an email stating that the payment has been approved and again when the shipment is sent. Which devices are compatible with the Sprouts app?
The Sprouts app is compatible with devices that meet the following criteria:
- Apple iPhone 5s or above running iOS 10.0 or higher

The Sprouts app will update itself on most devices. Users can manually update the app by visiting the Apple and Android app stores. Once in the app store, search for “Sprouts Farmers Market” in the update section and select “Update.” The app will include all the latest features when it is relaunched.

Can I scan a product barcode on the app?
Definitely! You can find the barcode scanner icon in the right-hand corner of the search bar when you tap on it. What if I can’t find a Weekly Ad item online?
Not all Weekly Ad items are available at every store location. If the item is available at your local store, it will appear online and in the Weekly Ad collection two days after it sells in-store. If you are unable to find the item, try checking again the following day. Additionally, we recommend ensuring that you have your preferred store location selected.

How do I redeem digital coupons?

How do I unsubscribe from the email list?
If you no longer wish to receive email correspondence from Sprouts, simply click the “Unsubscribe” link located at either the top or bottom of one of our emails. Alternatively, you may update your email preferences in the Sprouts app or on sprouts.com. To do this, switch your email interest to “No” in the “Lifestyle & Notification Preferences” section of your profile.
How can I create a Shopping List and add items to it?
Please ensure that you are browsing in Shopping List mode. Search for a product or click on a Department button to browse available products by category. Click the green “ADD TO LIST” button under an item to add it to your Shopping List. You can view or make changes to your list at any time by clicking on the pencil and paper icon.
How can I share my Shopping List with others?
On the Sprouts app, navigate to your Shopping List and tap the icon with three dots in the top right corner. Select “Share List.”
Can I print my Shopping List?
Yes. On shop.sprouts.com, go to your Shopping List. From there, click “Print.”
How do I remove an item from my Shopping List?
To remove a single item from your Shopping List on shop.sprouts.com, click on the “X” button to the left of the item. On the Sprouts app, click on the trash can icon next to the item to remove it. To clear your entire Shopping List, select “Empty List.”
How do I place an order for delivery or pickup?
To place an order:
- Login or register for a Sprouts account at shop.sprouts.com/login or by using the Sprouts app.
- Build a shopping list by using the Departments drop-down menu to select items and then selecting Add To List. Customers may continue to use the Shop Now drop-down menu to place an order for the time being; this will eventually merge with the sprouts.com shopping experience.
- Once a list is complete, click the Shopping List icon and basket total in the top right and select Order Online.
- Next, choose Delivery or Pickup and then transfer your items to an online order.
- From here, you’re all set – it’s that simple!
How do I know if online ordering is available in my area?
We offer curbside pickup in all stores. To learn about delivery availability in your area, click here and enter your address after selecting “delivery” from the green bar at the top left of the screen. Please note, you will be asked to log into your Sprouts account if you haven’t already.
Who does the shopping and delivery for my order?
Sprouts partners with Instacart for curbside pickup and delivery services. Delivery orders will be shopped and delivered by an Instacart shopper. Pickup orders will be shopped and brought to your car by a Sprouts team member.
What is the fee for curbside pickup?
If your first order is over $35, the curbside pickup fee is free!* Future pickup fees depend on the order size and pickup time selected. Pickup fees start at $1.99 for orders over $35 and $3.99 for orders under $35. There are no service fees charged on pickup orders. *Available in select areas. Prices may vary by location. Some promotion exclusions may apply. Limited to in-stock items. Additional terms apply.
Are Instacart product prices the same as in-store?
In-store prices and promotions, such as our Vitamin and Body Care and BOGO sales, are generally reflected on Instacart. However, the following are excluded from the service at this time: 72-Hour Sale, and coupons of any type (including Sprouts digital coupons).
What if I can’t find an item in the product catalog?
Items appear on the website when they have recent sales in stores. This means that product availability will vary by store. If you would like to order something you cannot find, your shopper may still be able to pick it up for you. Once your shopper starts shopping, you can message them with a special request.
Did you experience a problem with your delivery or curbside pickup order?
After your order is complete, you can rate your order and provide feedback via the SMS link sent to your cell phone. In that link you can “Report an Issue” below the comment section. An Instacart Customer Support will reach out to help resolve your issue. You can also reach out directly to [email protected] or Instacart’s support line available 24/7 at 1-888-246-7822.
How do I add special instructions for an item in my order?
After an item has been added to your cart, click “add a note” to add specific requests for an item. These notes will be saved for future orders placed on sprouts.com.
What happens if an item I order is out of stock?
Although we do our best to provide the most up-to-date information in our product catalog, we can’t always guarantee that an item will be in stock. You will be offered the option to replace or refund out of stock items via SMS while your shopper is shopping your order. By default, items added to your cart will be replaced with best-matched products, but you may disable substitutions while checking out.
How do I view the status of my order?
To view the status of an order you’ve already placed, select Purchase History from your Sprouts account. We will also share updates with you via SMS to the mobile phone number associated with your account throughout your order.
How do I make changes to an existing order?
If the shopper has not starting shopping yet, you can update your order within the order page by clicking the modify order button. To access your order, visit purchase history from the account dropdown on sprouts.com. If your shopper has already started shopping, please contact them via SMS to make any necessary adjustments.
How do I cancel an order?
Orders may be canceled for a full refund with no additional fees until the shopper begins shopping for your order. To cancel your order, view your order within your Purchase History and click the “Cancel Order” button. If you no longer see a “Cancel Order” button, please contact Instacart Customer Support to cancel your order. Cancellation fees may apply. You may contact Instacart by phone at 1-888-246-7822, by email at [email protected], or online at instacart.com/help/contact/.
How do I view my order receipt?
You will receive an email receipt when your order is complete and can access past receipts in your account purchase history.
How does your delivery service work?
Personal shoppers shop your order placed online and deliver your groceries from your local Sprouts store right to your door. You can select your order to be delivered within 2 hours or schedule up to 6 days in advanced. You can learn more about it here.
What are the Instacart delivery hours?
Delivery windows start as early as 8am and are subject to Sprouts operating hours, including holiday. You can view available delivery times by logging in and clicking delivery here.
How do I add delivery instructions?
You may add delivery instructions during checkout. Useful information to share in the delivery instructions may include: parking location, security or gate codes, and any other specific directions that may help the driver locate your address.
What is curbside pickup and how does it work?
Curbside pickup allows customers the opportunity to order groceries online and pick up their groceries curbside without shopping in store. Pickup windows can be scheduled for the same day or up to several days in advance. You can learn more about it here.
How do I pick up my order?
You may pick up your order inside or wait while an Instacart shopper brings it out to your car. Most stores have dedicated parking spots for you to wait in while your order out is brought out to you. Store-specific instructions will be provided for your order before you arrive. For orders containing alcohol, bring a valid form of ID.
What if my pickup order is ready early?
In some cases, your curbside pickup order may be ready earlier than your scheduled pickup time. All pickup orders are stored in a temperature-controlled environment to ensure food safety. You may pick up your order as soon as you receive notification that the order is ready.
What happens if I can’t make my pickup time?
If you are unable to make your curbside pickup time, your order will be held until the store closes at the end of the day. If you are unable to pick up your order before store closing time, please contact Instacart Customer Support to cancel your order. You may also contact Instacart by phone at 1-888-246-7822 or by email at [email protected] Any orders not picked up by the end of the scheduled pickup day will be automatically cancelled and refunded, minus a $15 fee.
Do you offer a membership for delivery and pickup orders?
You can become an Instacart Express member and use your membership on your sprouts.com orders. Click here to visit Instacart.com and sign up for your membership. You’ll need to create an account with the same email as your sprouts.com account.

How do I use my Instacart Express membership when ordering on sprouts.com?
On your profile page, you will see a link to “Import Account Info.” Once you import your information, you have access to your express membership, saved credit cards on the Instacart Platform, saved Delivery addresses and previously order items.
How much does an Instacart Express membership cost?
Instacart express is $99/year or $9.99/month. Please note that cancelling your membership renewal will not cancel your active membership for the current period or issue a refund for a membership renewal charge. You can cancel your membership here.

What is the fee for delivery?
If your first order is over $35, the delivery fee is free!* Future delivery fees depend on order size and delivery time selected. How much does Instacart curbside cost?
If your first order is over $35, will be free! Future pickup fees depend on the order size and the pickup time selected. In most cities, pickup starts at $1.99.
What is busy pricing?
When we experience high demand for a delivery time, a Busy Pricing fee may apply which allows Instacart to keep more delivery times open and ensure our service available to you even during the busiest parts of the day. Your delivery fee will be displayed clearly when you select a delivery time.
What is a service fee?
A service fee may apply to each order fulfilled by Instacart. It covers a broad range of operating costs including shopper operations, insurance, background checks, and customer support. The service fee isn’t a tip and doesn’t go to the shopper delivering your order.
Service fees vary and are subject to change based on factors like location and the number and types of items in your cart. You can view the service fee total on every order at checkout. Changes to your order, including replacing or refunding an item, may change the service fee. You’ll see the final cost and service fee total on your digital receipt after the order is complete.
Orders containing alcohol have a separate service fee.
What is the temporary authorization hold on my card?
When you place your order Instacart places a temporary authorization hold for 15% higher than your total order at checkout. This authorization hold is placed in case your total is higher due to special requests, added items, replacement items, or weight adjustments. After delivery, the hold will drop off, and your card will be charged for the final total. The final charge will appear within 7 business days after order completion.
I canceled my order, but I still see an authorization hold on my card.
An authorization hold can take time to drop off from your card or bank account. Please contact your bank directly regarding their authorization hold practices.
How do I view any available credits on my account?
Click available credits within your profile to see any credits that can be applied to your order.
How do I enter a promo code?
You may enter a promo code during checkout on shop.sprouts.com or in the side navigation bar of the Sprouts app.
Where does the tip go? How can I adjust the tip?
The tip goes directly to the shopper who delivered your order. You can add a tip at checkout or within the SMS feedback link after your order is complete. You can add and change a tip amount up to 3 days after your order is complete.
Is a tip different than the service fee?
A tip is not the service fee. The tip goes directly to your personal shopper and the service fee overs broad range of Instacart’s operating costs.
